Mission Statement:
At "Do Somebody Hear Me?", our mission is to create a compassionate space where individuals can find understanding, support, and healing through struggles with mental health, grief, and personal loss. We are dedicated to breaking the silence surrounding topics like depression, anxiety, and the painful effects of losing loved ones. We specifically focus on the unique challenges faced by individuals dealing with depression within the church community and among entrepreneurs, who often face societal pressure to “perform” despite their struggles. Through storytelling, education, and shared experiences, we aim to foster a sense of belonging, offering hope, and empowering individuals to embrace their healing process—mind, body, and soul.
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of "Do Somebody Hear Me?" is to shine a light on those who suffer in silence, particularly in the church and entrepreneurial spaces, where mental health challenges are often ignored or stigmatized. We aim to provide a voice for those dealing with depression and emotional struggles in environments where their pain may be overlooked. Our goal is to create a safe, open environment where individuals—whether in ministry, business, or everyday life—can find support, compassion, and the courage to heal. By sharing stories and resources, we seek to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and remind every person that they are worthy of care, connection, and healing. Through vulnerability, understanding, and community, we envision a world where mental health challenges are met with empathy, and no one feels unheard or invisible.
